I went out to visit my Greataunt today – we went for lunch at the Pittwater RSL (eek)… not so sure about the venue, but I’m always happy to see my Aunty Pat!
She’s a most amazing woman totally elegant – last time I saw her was at a family lunch where she was wearing 4″ Charkes Jourdan heels and some significant diamonds! Very impressive – especially when you consider that she’s 89! She has long white hair that’s plaited and held up with silver combs, so much nicer than those awful short perms so many older ladies have…
