Well I finally went to the podiatrist again today, which I’ve been meaning to for ages – sometimes I’m not so good at taking care of myself…
This was partially motivated by having a foot slave coming to see me this afternoon – but he hasn’t confirmed so I guess won’t be visiting my newly smoothed tootsies! Never mind – I need to do my nails and catch up on adminy sort of stuff anyway…
I love going to the podiatrist – I can’t understand why anyone would bother with an unhygienic experience at a nail-bar (they can’t properly sterilize those foot-spa things – shudder) where they really don’t do much but put on mosituriser and paint your nails, when for the same money you can visit someone with an actual degree (Bachelor of Applied Science I believe) who can do so much more (and I get a refund from my health insurance)…
So I got all the little rough edges cut off! With a scalpel – wearing heels all the time can be tough – but Esther takes care of them for me…
Now I just have to paint my nails again… they look a bit plain without polish.
