I read a lot – a few books a week, unless I’m feeling a bit miserable and then it’s more likely to be one a day as I hide away…
Anyway – today I finished “All tomorrow’s parties” by William Gibson – it was great – I’ll have to get “Pattern Recognition” which is the latest.
Sometimes I wish I were a slower reader – it would be less expensive! Books are sooooo expensive – I’ve paid over $30 for a paperback! Eep – but at least I guess there’s a lot of enjoyment in a book…
I think I’ve got a bit of a book habit – I hate the weird empty feeling when I don’t have one to hand – I scan my shelves looking for something I haven’t read for ages that is calling to me – I do reread, and actually tend not to remember a lot of detail from things I’ve read – it has to be very special to stay with me… I guess cause I read so much.
