I just got back from an excursion into town – I managed to find some new Tevas in my size – apparently everyone gets them from the same supplier about once a year – so the dead of winter isn’t the best time to try and buy them!

Anyway – Mountain Designs had some in my size – and even better they got me to join their loyalty program. Now most loyalty programs are pretty lame – you have to buy a zillion dollars worth of stuff before you get anything back – but these guys gave me 10% off the purchase price, plus I’ve got another 5% in credit next time I buy something…

I’m thinking of getting all new carabiners for suspension – so will go check them out when I get back.

I also bought some books! Yay – I’m reading The Confusion at the moment – but should finish that soon… so I bought Status Anxiety which I read a review of and looks really interesting and the latest in the Tales of the Otori series…
