Questions?

  3. Questions?

Well the session today was very fun! Only a half hour, but I managed to pack in 3 dozen strokes of the cane and some strap-on… the sub in question was rather cheeky I must say – but I was in a good mood at that stage (on account of the nice stripes).

And a little meme gakked from serpentine_kiss

This is the problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but in actuality we know nothing about each other. I’m going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away – but I reserve the right not to answer anything too personal!

I’ve been asking this of everyone lately, and collecting some interesting and amusing respones.

    Do you like girls?

Cool! Is NYC on the agenda?

You only got 2 questions, can I go again? (I know, I’m greedy.) Whats your favorite session?

What are your three favourite songs / pieces of music – and why? 🙂 (or is that 2 questions? lol)

What is your favourite movie? Why?

What movie always makes you cry?

What is the funniest movie you have seen?

What movie disturbed you the most? Why?

OK. Not one question, but all part of the same information gathering.

    They’re hard!

Favourite movie – not sure… there are lots – I totally loved Liquid Sky – I saw it on video as a teenager and it just fueled that desire for a “different” life. I love almost all Peter Greenaway – probably Drowning by numbers is my very fav. followed by The Pillow Book…

Makes me cry? – I cry pretty easily – I’d say the most I’ve ever cried at the movies was in The Joy Luck Club a total chick flick!

Most disturbing movie:Once Were Warriors – if you’ve seen it, you’d know why… I guess the realistic view of violence against women was the main thing – also the sense of helpless collusion with a violent hopeless situation.

I’ve left out a heap of other movies that have meant a lot to me… and the dumbass ones that you just like to stick on for a laugh after coming home from a dance party – I have to say I’ve seen Bring It On a *lot* of times, but Dersu Uzala is something that has stuck with me for years…

Ooh – another hard question 😉 I’m going to have to include a few more than three!

Gorecki by Lamb – the most romantic song I know
Shivers by The Boys Next Door – a hard pick, cause I was going to say Mutiny in Heaven by The Birthday Party, but the sooky song wins out!
Anthrax by Gang of Four – I just love the anarchy of unrestrained feedback at the beginning of the track… plus it takes me back in time to my very early youth!
Love Shines Through by Chakra – classic uplifting trance
    I’m afraid I think I’m human by Sonic Animation – cause sometimes I am 😉 plus it’s fast….mmmmm fast
Love will tear us apart by Joy Division – it’s a classic
Troy by Sinead O’Conner – I loved the original and now there’s even a dance remix!

Too hard! Generally though I’m a great believer that anything is better when you play it faster… hence my love of the Pennywise cover of Californina Dreaming – I heard the original on the radio recently in a cafe and was wondering when the fast bit would start!

    Heavy Discipline – mmmm – heavy discipline….

But it’s hard to pick – just so long as it’s not “bondage and tease” unless you count suspension and taunting as a B&T!

    Things you’ve done

I’m very greedy I know but

    1. What’s the most hurtful thing you’ve done to someone but was the right thing to do (and that doesn’t mean whipping someone!)

    2. What’s the most hurtful thing you’ve done you should not have done

    3. What thing have you done surprised you most that it made someone really happy

    4. What’s the thing you’d most like to do to make someone happy that you haven’t done

    5. Whats your favourite present

I stopped eating meat about 20 years ago when I was in my early teens… I’d been thinking about it for ages, but thought it would be too hard (I didn’t like a lot of vegetables at the time) – then one day I went to buy a sandwich and bought a salad one instead of ham or whatever – and I never ate meat again.

My god Gorecki by Lamb is one of my favourite songs of all time.

Have you listened to their song Gabriel – also very haunting.

    Excellent choice 🙂

During a session things can happen that spoil the mood or just make it all too much like work. What are the three worst things a sub might unwittingly do that spoil things for you. (I’m meaning things they wouldn’t neccesarily know are bad, not things like poor hygeine, rudeness etc.)

I have a very low tolerance level for sleazy personal remarks… so if someone says something about “tits” I’ll probably be offended – keep it general and I’ll be happy…

That I understand. I’m really not fond of sleaze (well other than in certain specific contexts). The problem I have is so many words for anything sexual have connotations, that I end up going for scientific/medical terminology, which can sound unpleasantly clinical. 🙂

I would agree Once Were Warriors is a disturbing movie, but a brilliant one nonetheless. One of my favourites.

You know what is disturbing??? Dont know if u have seen it but gawd, made me sick…. Irreversible.

Someone gave us a copy. I watched it and handed it back.

I don’t mind using the common term for “boy bits” – but I honestly can’t imagine why a submissive would feel any need to comment on me at all 😉
