I had dinner with my cousin from New Zealand tonight… I haven’t seen her for about 10 years, when she was a teenager and I was in my early 20’s!
The weird thing is that we have a very strong family resemblance – well that might not seem weird until you know her mother is Japanese! Plus she’s a distance runner (currently training for a marathon) and a civil engineer… yet somehow genetics shines through..
Anyway – it was very cool catching up with her and her boyfriend (and my mum) – I hope we see each other a bit more – she’s great, maybe I’ll have to make myself take that hiking holiday to NZ (with the wine of course)… 😉
I had a day off today! I even turned off my phone for a while – so if anyone’s been trying to call, I was out of Sydney for most of the day (playing horse for a while) and then out with my cousin… they do say “No rest for the wicked” but that must just prove I’m good!
Oh and in quizzland – hahaha – where’s my vespa though!
