When I was at Salon Kitty’s – Mistress Amanda often used to ask me to take new apprentices under my wing, and it was always something I really enjoyed… but since I left, I haven’t really done very much teaching.
I was discussing assisting SLPA with some of their wonderful education workshops – but of course I was in the US at the critical time…
On second thought I think I really prefer one-on-one (or one-on-two) as for me BDSM is too personal to fall into a “cookie cutter” approach to education.
Yesterday I had a lovely M/f couple come into the dungeon for an hour’s playtime – and I had a wonderful time showing them all the equipment and explaining things… I think I will put together some of my thoughts and get “out there” a little more with private BDSM education. I know that for a lot of people it’s a bit embarrasing/ personal to do in a group environment. Plus I know I learned a lot more from Senior Mistresses as an apprentice than I ever did at workshops – though they were always very fun!
