I arrived home yesterday morning safe and sound after the 14 hour flight – it’s at least an hour longer than on the way there – headwinds 🙁
I almost missed the plane – having gone out to Oakland to visit a friend – I spent too much time chatting and drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon which is pretty hilarious… we then missed the train back to town and I almost had a melt down – “I’m going to miss my plane” – but all was well – I made it less than an hour before (instead of the proper 2 hours) but then it was delayed anyway.
So back home around 8 – I had a little nap then had to get up again to drive my mother to the airport! She’s off on another big trip – this time visiting Chicago, London, Edinburugh and then the big trip across the Silk Route from Moscow to Bejing! She’s away for almost three months…
I’m happy to be home but feeling a little at a loose end – it’s been such a big experience for me… I can’t describe all the things I learned and how much I connected with a lot of the people there.
That said – I’ve missed my dungeon a lot!
I’m going stir crazy for some playtime…. first sub to ring me had better be ready 😉
