Poor Carisbrook is going to be very lonely for the last week of August as both Mistress Jadis and myself are going to be away!
Usually we do a much better job of planning our travels to make sure there’s always someone to mind the fort – but this time her London visit is clashing with my Hong Kong jaunt. She’s away until the 25th of September…
I on the other hand am away for just under a week – leaving on Saturday 27th August and back in Sydney again on the 2nd of September. It’s a holiday rather than a work trip this time – though you never know what might happen 
I’m really looking forward to it! It’s my first trip to Hong Kong and I may have plans for a tiny little bit of shopping and plenty of delicious noms too… I’ve been checking out a few online and have seen some fantastic looking vegetarian restaurants. Oooh – and a fish pedicure! I’m so looking forward to that!
Nice thing is that there’s very little time difference so I shouldn’t have any jet lag at all – plus it’s not a very long flight… well not compared to the US or the UK!
